General Terms & Conditions

Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your training sessions. We accept payment via bank transfer or online payment.

Cancellations & Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours' notice.

Cancellations made with more than 48 hours' notice will not receive a full refund but the option to reschedule.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice are non-refundable or able to reschedule unless otherwise agreed.

If the trainer has to cancel a session due to an emergency or illness, no refund will be offered for that session, or it will be rescheduled at no extra cost.

Refunds for Multi-Session Packages

Refunds for sessions not used may be available for a refund if the circumstances deem it appropriate. If you simply change your mind, or disagree with the training methods without evidence of wrong doing, then there will be no refund of unused sessions available if not within the consumer rights act.

If a refund has been agreed (extenuating circumstances only) for a training package, any refund will be calculated based on the full price of the sessions already completed. The discounted rate applies only to the completed package.

For example, if the full price per session is £65 and the discounted three-session package is £160, and you have completed one session:

The cost of the session you used is £65.

Your refund will be the package price minus the cost of the used sessions, less a £10 admin fee.

Refund amount: £160 - £65 - £10 = £85.

Punctuality: Please be ready to begin at the scheduled time. Sessions will end at the agreed-upon time, regardless of a late start.

Safety: For the safety of the trainer and your dog, you must disclose any history of aggression, biting, or serious behavioural issues before the first session. The owner is responsible for the dog's behaviour and for maintaining a safe environment during the training session.

Liability: The trainer is not liable for any injury or damage caused by your dog to any person, animal, or property. The trainer is not responsible for any illness your dog may contract.

Training Methods: We use positive reinforcement and reward-based training methods. Harsh or aversive training techniques are not permitted. If a client uses such methods, the trainer reserves the right to end the session immediately without a refund.

Results: Dog training is a process that requires consistent effort from the owner. We cannot guarantee specific results, as success depends on various factors, including the dog's temperament, the owner's commitment, and the consistency of the training plan.

Privacy: All information shared between the client and the trainer are confidential and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. We may use photos or videos from sessions for promotional purposes, but we will always ask for your permission first.

In-Home Session Specifics

Training Environment: Please ensure the training area is free from distractions and is a safe, clean space for the session. This includes putting away any items that could be a hazard to your dog or the trainer.

Household Members: All household members are welcome and encouraged to be present and participate in the training. However, please ensure that the environment remains focused and calm.

Dog's Well-being: If your dog shows signs of illness, please contact us to reschedule the session. Training a sick dog is not effective and can be stressful for the animal.
